Excursion of water police control bodies at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrometry

Water police inspectors in training, together with their instructors, learnt about water management issues. Topics included the dangers associated with flooding and the spread of discharges into flowing and stagnant waters.

After a short presentation, a guided tour through the hydraulic engineering test halls allowed for extensive discussions. Finally, the police officers were able to experiment on our river morphological model.
