Get-together of the “Young Water Management in the ÖWAV” at the hydraulic engineering laboratory

On October 22, 2024, the ÖWAV 's Young Water Management met at the Vienna Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory. The participants were given exciting insights into the research activities of the Federal Office of Water Management (Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrometric Testing) and BOKU (Institute of Hydraulic Engineering, Hydraulics and River Research).

Keynote speeches from both institutes highlighted the diverse research activities and opportunities in the new hydraulic engineering laboratory. During the subsequent guided tours through the two laboratory halls, the participants were able to experience the previously presented research facilities up close.

As usual with the Young Water Management, the day ended with a convivial get-together to talk shop.
