14 participants successfully completed the course “Hydrometry in Theory and Practice – Basic Course on Flow Measurement in Rivers and Streams”. The training included an online theoretical module and several practical field days at Lake Mondsee.
The course provided foundational knowledge on flow measurement in natural watercourses. Participants were introduced to various hydrometric methods and had the opportunity to apply them directly in the field.
A special insight into the practical part of the course is shown in the video footage of flow measurements conducted at the Fuschler Ache near St. Lorenz. The recordings illustrate the hands-on application of hydrometric techniques in a real-world setting.
The Federal Office of Water Management congratulates all graduates and extends its thanks to the lecturers, field instructors, and everyone involved in the successful implementation of the course.
