Module 4: Carp ponds and Recirculation Aquaculture Systems (36 lessons, one week duration)

Aquaculture in carp ponds and the so called “Additional fishes” in aquaculture are the main subjects of this module. Additionally we train basics of aquaculture in ponds, fish stocking, feeding and the maintenance of ponds. Moreover, we focus on sustainable pond management with special regard to water and product quality, with the practical topics fish processing and marketing. Recirculation Aquaculture System and their facilities and difficulties complete module 4.
