Module 3: Lake Management (36 lessons, one week duration)
Participants: maximum 24 persons
Location of the course: Institute for Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries Management, Scharfling / Mondsee
Module 3 is a very practical orientated course; we instruct basic knowledge of gill net fishery. In small groups the participants train the handling of gill nets and fykes, the extraction of water samples and basics of fishing with a rod. Another important item of this module is the biocenosis of the lake (algae, zooplankton, macrophytes).
